We opened our first Harvest of India restaurant in November, 2004. Gawler was opened in July 2006 and Port Noarlunga in 2009. Between us, we have over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. That’s separate to the great pleasure we’ve had in entertaining family and guests in our homes. We thank our wonderful, loving mother for the delicious recipes passed down to us, which make up many of the meals on our menus. Our dishes are bursting with flavours of Northern India. We grind fresh spices, marinate fresh quality meat and make our own sauces to ensure we achieve the authentic taste of home-style cooked Indian food. What Makes Us Different? Tony is the local (Labor) member for the State Electoral District of Light, in South Australia. Tony has proudly served his constituents since 2006. Tony Piccolo is the (Labor) Member for the State Electoral District of Light in the House of Assembly in the South Australian Parliament (Legislature). Tony’s electorate covers four different local government areas (City of Playford, Town of Gawler, Light Regional Council and the Barossa District Council). In 2006, Tony was the first Labor member to be elected to the seat of Light in almost 60 years. In March 2010 and was one of only two Labor members to increase their vote at the 2010 State Election and in March 2014, Tony was re-elected to a third term to State Parliament. Tony is a member and Patron of a number of community and volunteer organisations in his electorate.

We’re committed to empowering Australians to be suicide-safe through connection, compassion and hope. Our vision is for an Australia free of suicide. Lifeline was established in Port Pirie in 1977. In 1983 Lifeline Whyalla opened, closely followed by our Lifeline Port Augusta branch opening in 1985; collectively known as Lifeline Upper Spencer Gulf. In 2008 the organisation became known as Lifeline Country to Coast – which more clearly defines our service area. Lifeline Country to Coast SA is one of 42 independent accredited Lifeline centres across Australia. We are a non-profit organisation and attract broad based community support for a range of services. With a volunteer base of over 200 people we operate 11 Lifeline Retail outlets and bookshops across our service area. Our Lifeline Retail outlets provide good quality pre-loved clothing, books and household items; the income generated from Lifeline Retail support the provision of community suicide awareness education across our service area.
