If you are near one of our shops, please call in and browse; they are full of great bargains – books, bric-a-brac, household goods, clothing, accessories and toys. Our shops are staffed by volunteers – all money raised at these stores goes back into the care of lost and surrendered animals.

The Bunyip, one of SA’s oldest newspapers, was founded in 1863. It is published every Wednesday circulating in the Council areas of Gawler, Barossa, Light, Playford, Wakefield, Mallala and Clare & Gilbert Valleys. The Bunyip, based in Gawler, is growing rapidly as the district experiences a massive population and housing boom. Favoured by city commuters, Gawler boasts “the best of town and country”.
