Gawler Community Gallery is a modern, light filled gallery, having two exhibition spaces. The gallery is located in the centre of the historic country town of Gawler, South Australia’s oldest country town which was founded in 1836.
Gawler is a very pretty country town boasting many heritage buildings. It’s conveniently located at the gateway to the Barossa with the first wineries only 10 minutes up the road.
The gallery showcases beautiful South Australian art, with exhibitions changing every 6 weeks throughout the year. It also offers regular workshops and exhibition openings.
Visitors who’d like to pick up an authentic South Australian souvenir, can browse the gallery for pottery, hand painted cards, and various other small items perfect as a memento of their visit.
