Dear Town of Gawler Trader,
The Gawler Business Development Group are looking at ways to increase interaction between local traders and consumers for large events in the area.
This year, we are looking at becoming the liaison between local traders and the Apex club, specifically for the running of the Christmas Carols night in 2019.
Instead of the day markets we ran in 2018 which had the specific purpose of trying to bring some of the carol attendees through the main street, we are looking to gauge interest from within the business community to become stallholders for the proposed night markets to be held at Pioneer Park within the Carols event.
The Carols will be held on December 14, 2019 with a proposed start time for the markets of 6pm.
GBDG have proposed to Apex that this become a ‘Town of Gawler’ invitation only market – meaning we will not ask any non-member businesses from outside the area unless Town of Gawler businesses are not interested in providing stalls. Apex will charge a nominal fee for stall holders on the night which will go towards providing amenities for all attendees.
Please reply to Caren by close of business Friday 7th June if you wish to be involved and with a couple of lines detailing your focus for your stall. Please note: if not enough interest is received from Gawler businesses, these markets will be opened up to businesses outside the Town of Gawler.
