Course Topics:
– Basic Neurobiology: develop an understanding of the areas of the brain, their role and how they develop
– Neurobiology of Stress: understand what ‘stress’ is and how it effects our brain and body
– Structure of our Mind: develop an understanding of the system that is our thoughts and feelings
– Tools and Skills: Learn to recognise and connect with your body, senses, thoughts and feelings. Learn how to regulate and balance these in healthy ways utilising a range of tools from Somatic, Sensory, Cognitive, Behavioural and Interpersonal Therapies.
