Conference to support small businesses launched today 4/3/19

MEDIA RELEASE

CONFERENCE TO SUPPORT BUSINESSES LAUNCHED 4/3/19
“INSPIRATION, CONNECTION AND INNOVATION”

A conference to provide information to the Business Community of South Australia was launched today.

The conference is the result of feedback received from attendees of the Gawler Business Development Groups Business Expos held over the last few years. The conference program will provide a range of complementary topics for business owners, managers and key staff to take away and implement in the workplace.

The information has been developed around a need to assist with ensuring:
– the digital/cyber security of businesses entering the digital realm
– improving the profitability of businesses
– growing your business on a budget
– funding opportunities for entrepreneurs
– digital media law

The facilitators for the event have been sourced from across Australia to share information with the attendees that will enable them to either launch and run a successful and sustainable new business, plus preparing existing businesses to move forward with confidence knowing the relevant practices are in place to build a stronger business.

Mike Hawkins – EO Business Enterprise Centres Australia says, “The Gawler small business conference provides a unique opportunity for small business owners to network with their peers and to also hear from experienced business specialists about trending issues that have or can impact on their business. This event is not to be missed. It may be a reinforcement of how you already operate, or it may be a wake up call to embrace new ideas and concepts to protect your valuable investment. Remember if you do the same things every day do not expect anything to change.”

Caren Brougham, EO of Gawler Business Development Group says, “The need for businesses to constantly change and adapt will be the clear, takeaway message for the conference. The ability for local businesses to hear about opportunities, gain new knowledge and to network with the people delivering these messages is a unique opportunity. Its not often that you find so many high calibre people in one room who are happy to support other businesses”.
