The Gawler Aquatic Centre is located adjacent to the North Para River near the Willaston Bridge surrounded by River Red Gums and spacious lawns.
The lower part of the grounds of the Centre is a designated flood plain.
The Centre comprises of three swimming pools, a 50 metre seven lane pool and two smaller pools – a Learn to Swim pool and Toddlers pool. All three pools are heated, with the 50 metre pool heated to 27 degrees and the two smaller pools heated to 32 degrees.
The Gawler Aquatic Centre provides a range of activities including lap swimming, learn to swim and fitness programs and is the home to the Gawler Amateur Swimming Club.
