Vanessa Bamford is a mum, wife and Strategic Business Consultant and Founder of Vision Beyond Business. With a keen interest in making a difference in the mental health space both directly and indirectly, Vanessa is on a mission to live a life of purpose.
Vanessa is a born and bred Gawler Girl, working as a qualified Accountant since 2000, with her small business experience extending back to the age of 7 when she could finally see over the counter of her parents’ family run deli in Gawler South.
Her business specialises in working with purpose-driven businesses, not for profits and social enterprises. Vanessa’s ‘ripple affect’ approach is to help amplify the efforts of those that are making a positive impact, improving the outcomes for the organisation, its people, its community and future generations.
Vision Beyond Business has a specialised focus as a virtual CFO and outsourced finance service, helping businesses that are ready to grow, be accountable and make a difference. This is achieved by guiding those businesses as they set up systems, processes and reporting to help them thrive, with the support of a well experienced consultant and accounting team.
Working predominantly within the health and wellness industry for the CFO & outsourced finance work, Vanessa’s desire to help all small businesses within Australia has led to the creation of her Know Your Numbers online workshops and membership program to help small business owners to understand their numbers simply. Know Your Numbers is designed to empower business owners and managers with the numbers they need, the accountability to take action and the discipline to develop good habits, with the ultimate objective of achieving positive financial change in a strategic way.
