There has long been a gap in the domestic food supply market in Australia for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community driven agribusiness services, which employ local people and support local communities. Research has also shown a growing population that is building enormous momentum and will require combined leadership in Australia to secure food supplies and develop mechanisms that safeguard the interests of all stakeholders.
Red Centre Enterprises has developed a supplier relationship with Vili’s Family Bakery and has established a collaboration with Flowerdale Farm (which operates out of Glenburn, Victoria) and Tantanoola based Holla-Fresh to commence commercially growing Australian native herbs.
